The match against Békéscsaba was close for twenty minutes, then DVSC SCHAEFFLER gradually increased its lead and eventually won by nine goals.

It took only one minute and 43 seconds for the first sending off of the match. The referees sent off Konszuéla Hámori for two minutes. Interestingly, no goal was scored until then. Békéscsaba then took the lead through a man advantage and even at the beginning of the fourth minute, at 2-1, the home team was ahead, but as it turned out later, it was for the last time. DVSC SCHAEFFLER took the lead in the fifth minute with a goal by Sercien-Ugolin and did not let it go from their hands in the following minutes. The two teams were neck and neck until the middle of the first half, and then the home team’s timeout gave Debrecen some extra momentum. There were already four goals between the two teams, three of which the guests saved for the break.
In the second half, DVSC SCHAEFFLER just had to manage the difference, which did not cause any problems. Although the home team, fighting enthusiastically, managed to close the gap to two goals at the beginning of the half, they were unable to make the match close in the following minutes. Our advantage gradually increased, reaching seven in the 43rd minute, when Gábor Herbert called for a third time. However, this did not help the Békéscsaba team. The Debrecen team, which defended excellently this time, increased the gap and finally won confidently. Interestingly, in the absence of Míra Vámos and Petrus Mirtill, who were struggling with minor injuries, DVSC SCHAEFFLER played the match without a real left winger. The forced winger, Nikolett Tóth, ended up scoring two goals. Alexandra Töpfner became the most successful player on the field with 8 goals, with only one missed shot.

COACHES:
Gábor Herbert: – It’s wrong to say this, but that’s what there is between the two teams. As long as we were fresh, we were able to stick together. Our defense fell short of expectations, which is why the big difference emerged in the end.
Zoltán Szilágyi: – In the first half, the Békéscsaba team stuck to us a lot. Although our offensive game worked well, I was not satisfied with the defense and we made a lot of technical mistakes in the runs, which is not typical of us.
