The ORFK-National Accident Prevention Committee received the Fair Play award for its accident prevention program announced with the cooperation of sports associations. DVSC SCHAEFFLER also participated in the campaign with a memorable video.
It was an innovative initiative on the part of the ORFK-OBB to have the nation’s athletes play a significant role in promoting safe transport. Their example and their statements on the topic influence the attitudes of many road users in a positive direction. For two years, the ORFK-OBB has been looking for a new way of communicating with which it can deliver information more efficiently to road users. To this end, it established cooperation with the Győr Audi ETO, DVSC SCHAEFFLER, Telekom Veszprém, OTP-Bank Pick Szeged handball teams, the National Association of Hungarian Basketball Players, the MLSZ and the Hungarian Handball Association. Loki’s handball players lined up on the zebra crossing in front of Huszár Gál High School, forming a wall of six, thus drawing attention to the fact that pedestrians have priority at the pedestrian crossing, so drivers must stop. By the way, the video was viewed by nearly 32 thousand people on TikTok.
