The freshly insulated and painted wall of Hódos is damaged

Last night, unknown criminals damaged the freshly painted and insulated wall of the Hódos Imre Rendezvénycsarnok on the Baksay Sándor utca side. The maintainer DVSC Kézilabda Kft. filed a complaint, the damage is significant.

The renovation of the Imre Hódos Rendezvénycsarnok began at the beginning of the summer. The outer walls were insulated with a thickness of 20 centimeters, which was then covered with white plaster. In addition, the aged tin cornices will be replaced, the iron structures will be repainted and the worn-out outdoor false ceiling will be replaced. The latter has energy-saving LED lighting.

The DVSC Handball club does everything to operate and develop the hall with the care of a good owner. In the spirit of responsible management, we have insulated the facility, as this can save significant costs during the heating season and thus make it more comfortable for the players, the academy children and our fans.

We are baffled by this kind of vandalism. We would like to believe that it was not done by the community that has been vocal about how much it supports our team.

We ask the community that supports and loves the DVSC Handball team of our city, that if anyone has any information about the vandalism, please contact us at our known contact details!

DVSC Kézilabda Kft. filed a police report and will do everything to ensure that a similar case does not occur in the future. In addition to the existing cameras, we will install new ones around the hall.

The cost of the repair is not negligible, as not only the inscription has to be painted, but also an entire section of the wall, which means additional costs for the club.

As far as the content of the inscription is concerned, we could say that we always try to spend money on improvements that make the operation of the hall easier and its use more comfortable. With investments like this, the development and sustainability of the club can be ensured.
