The Hungarian national team started the World Championship with an easy victory against Paraguay. The three DVSC SCHAEFFLER players scored a total of seven goals.
We are over it, without injury and with a confident victory. This is the most important. The World Championship opener against Paraguay doesn’t deserve a word. Petra Vámos scored our first World Championship goal, and the difference kept growing. The apparently unimaginative, somewhat self- and publicly dangerous South American players tried to pick up the rhythm, mostly unsuccessfully. The match was as if a national team aspiring to the Olympics was playing against one of the middle teams of the NBI/B, because that was the case. Paraguay would probably not fall out of the Hungarian second line, and our girls want to be there in Paris. They can take the next step towards achieving their goal on Saturday, against Cameroon, although we suspect that avoiding injury will be the main goal there as well.
