Smooth win against Egypt

The Hungarian junior national team, led by Zoltán Szilágyi, started the tournament of the three nations in Debrecen with an eleven-goal victory against the age-group team of Egypt.

The Hungarian women’s junior handball team is having a training camp in Debrecen, which is preparing for the U20 World Championship in Skopje. Zoltán Szilágyi’s team will participate in the tournament of the three nations, which will be hosted by the Imre Hódos Rendezvénycsarnok. Egypt was the opponent this afternoon, on Friday Hungary will play against the Dutch age-group national team.

Egypt, also participating in the World Cup, was not fightened it at all, which even took the lead on one occasion and kept pace with ours for 25 minutes. However, starting from the seventh minute of the second half, the Hungarians gradually increased their advantage, in the 49th minute the difference was already ten goals. In the end, the Hungarian national team won 32-21, in which Liliána Csernyánszki and Anna Panyi scored three goals each, and Réka Lakatos came on in the second half and made several important saves.

The Hungarians next play against the Netherlands on Friday at 10 a.m.
