Our self-educated left winger extended her contract by two years, so the new agreement is now valid until June 30, 2027.
Petrus Mirtill has a thousand ties to Debrecen, she was born here, started playing handball here, and became a NB I player here. She was not yet 18 years old when she made his debut in the first division in September 2019, since then she has played in a total of 145 matches, scoring 305 goals. She played one of her most memorable games in the European Cup last October, against Brest Bretagne, when she contributed five goals to the 31-24 victory over the French star team. In the domestic championship this spring against MTK-Budapest, she played unstoppable handball, shot at the goal nine times and scored each time.
DVSC SCHAEFFLER offered our homegrown winger a two-year contract extension, which she accepted. Her contract, which originally expired next summer, is therefore valid until June 30, 2027. Extension was not really a question for either side. “I am very happy about the contract extension. Actually, there was no question for me that I would continue here and I am very happy that the club also counts on me – Mici told our website. – I had sensational experiences during the last season, when we were in the Champions League and we have serious goals this year too, so I think I am in the best place. DVSC SCHAEFFLER develops year by year, and I want to develop together with the team. Not to mention that I grew up here, I owe a lot to Loki and really everything here, so it’s a lucky situation that there is such a high-quality club here in Debrecen where I can play handball.”
