Petra Füzi-Tóvizi, Tamara Haggerty and Kristin Thorleifsdóttir got a short rest after the five-hoop games. On Monday, August 19, they will join the DVSC SCHAEFFLER squad and next weekend they will be playing in the I. Kermann IT Cup.
One player from DVSC SCHAEFFLER’s 2024/25 squad was in the Hungarian, Dutch and Swedish national teams, and all three played an important role in their country’s national team. Their teams finished in close succession at the Olympic tournament: Kristin Thorleifsdóttir with the Swedes finished fourth, Tamara Haggerty with the Dutch finished fifth, while Petra Füzi-Tóvizi and the Hungarian national team finished in sixth place.

As we reported on Tuesday, our Hungarian national team defender is already in Debrecen, he met his teammates on Tuesday and then completed individual training. Kristin Thorleifsdóttir arrives in town on Friday and Tamara Haggerty on Saturday. They will train with the team on Monday, and on Friday and Saturday they will play in the 1st Kermann IT Cup.
