The club also extended the contract with Nina Szabó. The new agreement runs until the summer of 2027.

Nina Szabó became a DVSC SCHAEFFLER player in the summer of 2021. She made his debut in the 30-22 win against Kisvárda, scoring a goal right away. Since then, she has played 87 matches for the club, scoring 181 goals in total. She started the 2023/24 season on loan at MTK, but due to a serious injury to Konszuéla Hámori, she returned during the season. Not anyway! She quickly became a force to be reckoned with in the championship and the Champions League. In the rally against Mosonmagyaróvár, she set a personal goal record with 7 goals, and then came the match against Vipers, where she broke this record, as she scored eight times in the second leg in Kristiansand. In the two matches, she scored a total of 14 goals for the three-time BL winner… She also started the 2024/25 season in great shape, but on October 9, in the away match against Győr, she suffered a cruciate ligament tear and has been doing rehabilitation work ever since. However, the club’s trust in the young center-back is unbroken, so we extended her contract, which expires in the summer, by another two years.

“I was very happy when the management contacted me and it turned out that they wanted to continue working together with me – said Nina regarding the extension. I am currently working on getting back on the field in the best possible condition and being as useful member of the team as I was before my injury. To this day, I shudder when I think of Champions League matches. Although I was only able to play in three matches, it was a great experience to be among the best. Personally, my biggest goal, but I think I can say the same on behalf of the team, is that we can play CL matches again as soon as possible.”
