New fitness coach on board

Örs Sebestyén prepares the youth of the DVSC Handball Academy and the players of the adult team for the tasks of the season.

The young coach replaces Suba Emese in the crew, who was unable to continue working due to the birth of her third child.

“No matter how strange, I started working for an amateur football team in Budapest – our new fitness coach spoke about the beginnings. – I played in the team, then after I got my master’s degree at the university, I took over the management of the club’s fitness work. From there I entered the National Handball Academy. Handball was a new field for me, but since it is a team sport, it was not so foreign. I learned a lot about handball, got to know the sport. During my two years at Balatonboglár, I worked with almost all age groups, this period was very important. After NEKA, I spent a year at the Hungarian Athletics Association, during which time I was contacted in Debrecen. This is definitely a step forward for me, a fantastic challenge to be able to work at a prominent academy, with a team that competes at such a level. The girls threw themselves into the work enthusiastically, they accept what I try to instill in them. We will have a difficult season at all levels, so the hard work is necessary!”
