The Hungarian national team won 36-30 in the main test of next week’s Olympic qualifier in Debrecen in Győr and finished in the second position in the EHF EURO CUP.
Petra Vámos and Petra Füzi-Tóvizi were in the starting team, Gréta Kácsor played as a substitute in the final round of the EHF EuroCup. All three DVSC SCHAEFFLER players scored one goal.
The Hungarian girls started well, and although the Austrians were still holding on after 3-0, the advantage quickly increased. The game was hectic, the captain was able to try out several variations, and Hungary still won easily.
Thus, behind the 100% Norway, our team finished in second place in the EHF EuroCup with eight points, ahead of the national team of Switzerland (4) and Austria (0).
The most important task awaits us in Debrecen from next Thursday to Sunday. They can compete for Olympic participation in the Phoenix Arena.
