The paper form was valid for the EHF European Cup match against the Norwegians. The home team easily won against the Hungarian national team, which made a lot of mistakes.
Among the Debrecen squad members, Petra Vámos played as a member of the starting team, Petra Füzi-Tóvizi played as a substitute, while Gréta Kácsor did not play this time. The Hungarian team did not start well. Although we still had an answer to Veronica Kristiansen’s goal, four Norwegian goals followed in a row, which set the stage for the game to continue. We tried to hold on, and the northerners kept the difference without much effort. The Hungarian ladies were completely harmless from passing shots against the rock-hard Norwegian wall, and this did not change even after the break, by the end the difference had grown to well over ten points. Fortunately, in the last four days of next week, the Hungarian team will not have such a strong opponent as Norway in the Főnix Arena. Vladimir Golovin’s team plays against Austria in the last round of the European Cup on Saturday.
