Named after the legendary coach of the DVSC, the best-performing youth handball player receives an award each year.
Every year, the coaches of the DVSC Handball Academy decide which youth handball player can receive the Ákos Komáromi award. The award can be given to a player who stands out with his diligence, attitude, performance and behavior on and off the field and can therefore be set as an example to other academics. The first recipient of the newly established award can receive the trophy on Wednesday, September 6, before the DVSC SCHAEFFLER-Vasas NB I match.
