The two halls are the same as they were in 2022. The matches, 126 in number, will be held in the Borisz Trajkovszki Sports Center and the Jane Szandanszki Arena! Two years ago, Bohus Bea managed the Hungarian youth team as a national coach, who won a bronze medal after losing to eventual winners South Korea in the semi-finals. Last year, Zoltán Szilágyi and Kitti Kudor led our team at the Junior European Championship in Romania, who won the gold medal with a convincing performance. Under the managing of the two experts from Debrecen, the Hungarian national team is still 100 percent in the match!
The Hungarian national team will not have an easy task at the World Cup starting on Wednesday, as they will already meet the Youth World Cup winner Korea in the group stage, and then in the semi-finals, they will have to go through Denmark and Norway to reach the knockout stage, i.e. into the top eight. The task is made more difficult by the fact that Simon Petra, one of the key members of the European Championship-winning team, cannot be there in Skopje, as he is preparing for the Paris Olympics with the adult national team.
The Hungarian team prepared for the World Cup in Debrecen for two weeks, and as the end of the training camp, they played two test matches in the Hódos Imre Rendezvénycsarnok against Egypt and then the Netherlands as part of the Three Nations Tournament.
