The Romanian championship bronze medalist Gloria Bistrita and the Asian CL winner, the Sugar Gliders from South Korea, will be our guests at the preparatory tournament from Wednesday to Friday.

Our team has already met with Beszterce during the preparation. On August 6, in the final of the Transylvania Kapuja Cup, the bronze medalist of the Romanian championship won 31-22. This time, the two teams will meet in the opening match of the DVSC SCHAEFFLER Cup, and Petrus Mirtill, who was forced to miss the Transylvania tour due to illness, and Mariana Costa, who is preparing to play again with the team after a serious facial bone injury, can play for us.

The next day, the Asian Champions League winner Sugar Gliders will play in Debrecen against the team from Beszterce. The game of the South Korean team can certainly be an interesting highlight of the tournament, as they play fast handball based on a lot of movement and prefer open defense, which can cause problems for European teams.

On the final day of the tournament, Debrecen will also play against the Sugar Gliders team, this will be DVSC SCHAEFFLER’s last domestic performance before the start of the championship.
