After a forgettable first half, we finally won without any particular problems against the promising newcomer Vasas.

When we say it started badly, we are putting it mildly. One chance was missed, then another and we were scared. When Judit Balog neutralized the sixth shot from Debrecen, we started to worry, since the team of Angyalföld already had three hits. Seven and a half minutes passed when Petra Vámos scored our first goal, but this was followed by another save by Balog, and the guests soon had a 5-1 lead. We were in the 19th minute when we were only three goals down. Fortunately, the next three goals did not take two minutes, so we caught up, and in the 24th minute, Jovana Jovovic’s goal equalized (8-8). With an empty net goal by Konszuéla Hámori, we were already ahead by two, and we had the advantage at halftime as well.

In the continuation, Vasas took the lead once again, but we turned it around with the help of Gréta Kácsor, who produced a magnificent six minutes at the beginning of the game. Then Petra Vámos took control of things, so we managed to build a stable advantage, and then came Petra Füzi-Tóvizi. The 47th minute started without a goal to his name, then he scored two in 20 seconds (the second from his own half, into an empty net), and encouraged by this, he finally reached six. After the initial difficulties, we finally got the two points easily, just as we won 31-23 in Fehérvár.

Csaba Konkoly: I am very proud of my team because we played bravely. I can be 60 percent satisfied, because we performed well for a very long time both in defense, goalkeeping and attack. Then, in the middle of the second half, reality came to face us, Debrecen made us to play maximum effort and we managed it so far.
Zoltán Szilágyi: The first half did not go as we planned, our use of the situation was very poor, and Vasas made it very difficult for us with their tough defense and especially with the goalkeeping performance of Judit Balog. I can already be satisfied with the second half, we scored 15 runs and a starting goal, we also planned this to try to speed up the game and it worked well in the end.
