DVSC SCHAEFFLER did not tolerate contradictions in handball during the rally against Praktiker-Vác. Loki played in CL mode almost the entire time, so victory was never in danger for a moment.
It’s been a long time since DVSC SCHAEFFLER made such an impressive start. In the first five minutes, the team didn’t even score a goal, while they scored four. It is no wonder that Herbert Gábor asked for time at 04:58. Even so, Vác’s situation did not improve much. The visitors scored for the first time in the ninth minute, through Kuczora. By then, Loki was already six. The girls from Debrecen did not tolerate contradiction from the very beginning of the match. The team was characterized by rock-hard and highly concentrated defense, lightning-fast and creative attack. At 12:14, another time request from Herbert came. At that time the score was 10:3.
However, this did not help the guests either. DVSC SCHAEFFLER led by eight at halftime. In the second half, Loki continued where it left off in the first half. At the beginning of the 35th minute, there were already ten between them. We had a minor ups and downs in the middle of the half, then Vác caught up to six goals, but Zoltán Szilágyi’s timeout shook the team up again. By the last ten minutes, the advantage was ten goals again. In the beginning of the match, the head coach of DVSC SCHAEFFLER tried to give all his players a chance, and those who entered the field were grateful for the trust. Loki managed the match well throughout and won confidently.

Gabor Herbert: That’s not how you start a match like we did. I don’t understand why the beginning of the match was like this. Maybe I didn’t approach the match well either, maybe I should have fired up the team more, but it wasn’t really a sign of that. Unfortunately, the first half is hard to forget, the second was fine. Congratulations to Debrecen for this year!
Zoltán Szilágyi: We managed to beat a good team at home. The things we discussed worked very well. At the beginning, our defense was excellent and this gave us a confidence that helped us attack. We had our ups and downs in the second half, but I’m glad that we kept the game in our hands the whole time. I wish Vác to win all their matches from now on.
