With Sercien-Ugolin’s double, we led 2-0, but Kisvárda equalized within a minute. At first, the guests didn’t let us leave. After 15 minutes of play, the score was still 8-7. However, in the second half of the half, DVSC SCHAEFFLER changed gears. The defense rallied, and we scored easy goals one after the other from the obtained balls. In the 19th minute, there were four between them for the first time, then Niki Tóth’s two consecutive empty-net goals increased the gap to six. Kisvárda was not only weak in defense, but also could not be really dangerous in attack, so we increased the advantage even more until the break. At halftime we already led by eight (19-11).

Kisvárda scored the first goal of the second half, but Kristin Thorleifsdóttir responded immediately. With Sercien-Ugolin’s seven, we led by nine for the first time, then after Petrus Mirtill’s run from the wing, we had a ten-goal difference by the 36th minute. Zoltán Szilágyi tried to give everyone a chance to play, and those who entered the field were grateful for this. It is interesting that Petrus Mirtill was replaced by Niki Tóth in the left wing position from the 45th minute. Míra Vámos could not play this time due to a minor injury. Our manager scored his fifth goal from this position. Our talented academician, Rebeka Balogh, also arrived for the last eight minutes, who greeted us immediately after starting, moreover from the left wing. Zoltán Szilágyi: I am happy about the two points and the large-scale victory. In the second half, we saved a bit, I didn’t like that, but otherwise we were confident throughout and played convincingly. We had some nice things in defense and attack. I’m glad that I was able to give everyone a chance to play. I hope that we will continue with similar momentum.
Józsa Krisztián: I congratulate Debrecen for the victory and the game. I’m disappointed because our attack and defense were very weak. We didn’t show the face we showed in the last few weeks. We got a big slap, maybe we were a little dizzy, but maybe this slap came at the right time. We have to learn from our mistakes and improve in the games that really matter to us.
