A ten-goal win was worth a Cup Victory

Our team won the DVSC SCHAEFFLER Cup with a 32-22 victory over the Sugar Gliders from South Korea and a better goal difference.

Since Gloria Bistrita beat the South Korean Sugar Gliders 31-24 on Thursday night, it was known before the final game of the DVSC SCHAEFFLER Cup that ours needed a minimum eight-goal victory to win the tournament. Vivien Grosch and Konszuéla Hámori were absent this time due to minor injuries.

We played a hectic match against the Asian team, which relies on a lot of footwork and plays fast handball. It was nice to see Míra Vámos’s goal-scoring game in the second half, the nice solutions of Liliána Csernyanszki and Petra Vámos, and the team’s sometimes solid defense.

In addition to the trophy for the winning team, we also held an individual prize at home. Liliana Csernyanszki was chosen as the best player of the tournament.
