Playing well, DVSC SCHAEFFLER won by 13 goals in Dunaújváros, so our team will again be in the final four of the Hungarian Cup, which will be held on March 9-10.
Although the hosts took the lead with Babett Szalai’s goal, four goals from Debrecen were the answer, so in the fifth minute we were already three ahead of Dunaújváros. Kohász started with two defenders. In the 14th minute, with DVSC SCHAEFFLER leading 10-4, the DKKA coach asked for time, at which time Petrus Mirtill and Konszuéla Hámori had three goals each. In the continuation, the scissors opened further, we already led 12-4. But at the beginning of the first half, there were a lot of mistakes in our game, so the people of Dunaújváros held on and halved their deficit by the break.
After the turn, we played handball with great momentum, Gabrijela Bartulovic saved many times behind the hard wall, so the progression was quickly decided. We are again in the final four of the Hungarian Cup, together with Győr, Mosonmagyaróvár and Ferencváros.

Róbert Paic: The two teams had different goals. We wanted to be worthy opponents of Debrecen, and we succeeded in the second half of the first half, as we came back from a big deficit. In the second half, we made a lot of mistakes, we didn’t concentrate, the defense didn’t come together, DVSC took advantage of this, that’s why the difference was so big.
Zoltán Szilágyi: I am very happy about advancing, we can be in the final four again, which was a great experience for us last year as well. We started well, our defense was fine, that’s where the raids came from, that set the tone. At the end of the first half, Dunaújváros took advantage of our mistakes, but after the break the match was already in our hands.
