In addition to the self-educated Petra Füzi-Tóvizi and Petrus Mirtill, Nikolett Tóth, who plays for DVSC SCHAEFFLER, and our head coach, Zoltán Szilágyi, are also members of the European Championship bronze medalist Hungarian national team.

As we reported earlier, the Hungarian women’s handball team achieved sensational success at the European Championship, which was partly organized in Hungary. By defeating the world champion France, our team finished in third place in the continental tournament! Three current DVSC SCHAEFFLER players: Petra Füzi-Tóvizi, Nikolett Tóth and Petrus Mirtill, who was invited to the semi-finals, won the European bronze medal in the Stadhalle in Vienna. This is in light of the fact that so far only one Loki player has won a medal at a world competition – Gabriella Szűcs was a member of the bronze medal winning Hungarian team at both the 2004 EC and the 2005 World Championships in Russia – a particularly great achievement! In addition, Petra Füzi-Tóvizi and Petrus Mirtill came out of DVSC’s supply, just as Réka Bordás, currently playing in Ferencváros, is also DVSC’s upbringing. Petra Vámos, who came from NEKA, played her first senior first-class match in DVSC in 2019. In Debrecen, she first became a NB I player, and then a national team player within a few months.
Our head coach, Zoltán Szilágyi, was unable to participate in the ceremony due to illness, but of course he also received his well-deserved bronze medal afterwards.
Congratulations and we are proud of you!
