After the tension of the inner minutes, the defense rallied, so the fate of the two points was quickly decided. DVSC SCHAEFFLER earned the two points at the start of the championship with a confident, sometimes spectacular game.

The first one is always special, perhaps this was felt by the girls from Debrecen at the beginning of the match. We were in a hurry, we messed up shots, while the defense was not yet organized in this period. After a quarter of an hour, the picture of the game changed a lot. Vasas could no longer score easy goals, the hosts hardly even got to a shooting position, if they did, there was Catherine Gabriel, who came off the bench brilliantly.
Thus, the difference swelled to a reassuring level by the break, and in the continuation, all essential questions were quickly resolved. Our defenders got into situations easily and sold them with a good percentage, Míra Vámos shot in a variety of ways, the team had no weak points. In the final game, only the difference was questionable, in the end we won with 15 goals in the opening game, which is encouraging for the continuation.

Csaba Konkoly: – The Europa League starter, who was in last year’s CL, played dominantly throughout DVSC. We don’t have to beat Debrecen, for us the championship starts only after that.
Zoltán Szilágyi: –  The first match is always special, there was tension in the players, it was visible in the first minutes. We had a problem primarily in defense, as we rallied at the back we managed to gain a reassuring advantage. In certain periods of the second half, we produced a joy game that was released. I’m happy that our linebacking was strong. I hope we can continue this way!
