Despite the fourth place, DVSC SCHAEFFLER is applying for participation in the Champions League, and Nina Szabó will also play in Debrecen next season. Managing director Zsolt Ábrók talked about all of this in the season-ending interview given to the news portal dehir.hu.
“The documetnation has already been prepared, we only need to make some refinements, as the submission deadline is June 4. Entries for the Europa League can be made until June 24, so by the time that time approaches, we will already know whether we were successful in the CL .” This is what managing director Zsolt Ábrók answered to the question of whether DVSC SCHAEFFLER – despite the fourth place – will apply for participation in the Champions League again this year. As it turned out from the answer, the team from Debrecen will also compete in the strongest international series next season.
The dehir.hu interview also reveals that Nina Szabó, who was recalled due to an injury to Conszüéla Hámori, will continue to play for DVSC SCHAEFFLER next season, after convincing both the head coach and the club manager with her great performance.
