Győr Audi ETO KC will be DVSC SCHAEFFLER’s opponent in the Hungarian Cup semifinal. On the other side, Mosonmagyaróvár and Fradi clash. The Final Four will take place in Tatabánya on March 9 and 10.
This afternoon, in the M4 Sport Handball magazine, the matches for the semi-finals of the Hungarian Cup were drawn. Bernadett Ferling, born in Tatabánya, drew the names of the teams. From our point of view, the participation of the world championship silver medalist handball player was not lucky, as DVSC drew SCHAEFFLER’s name from the ball next to Hungarian Champion Győr Audi ETO KC.
Our club was represented at the draw by Zsolt Ábrók, managing director.
“Of course we want to play in the cup final, for which we have to beat one of the most difficult opponents. In recent years, we played several very close matches with Győr, but we never managed to win. Sooner or later we have to step over our own shadow, the players have to believe that we have a chance against such a team. We still have three tries this season against ETO, I hope we can finally beat them.”
The women’s handball Final Four will be held in Tatabánya again this year on March 9 and 10.
