SCHAEFFLER has extended its eponymous sponsorship contract with DVSC Kézilabda Kft. This means that our team will definitely be called DVSC SCHAEFFLER until 2025.
The parties announced the extension at a press conference. Deputy Mayor Lajos Barcsa also took part in the event, who welcomed the decision as both city manager and owner. “We can also see from the spectator numbers how much women’s handball is loved in the city. We can say that this is the second most popular sport in Debrecen, said Lajos Barcsa. – I think that the eponymous sponsorship contract is on the one hand a kind of emotional commitment on the part of SCHAEFFLER, and on the other hand it is an excellent opportunity from the point of view of corporate brand building. The team will have an increased workload this year with the participation in the Champions League, which is why it is important that everyone supports the team as much as they can, including the sponsors. SCHAEFFLER is one of the largest employers in the city, which feels the responsibility that comes with operating here. As a multinational company, it gladly supports events important to Debrecen and traditional clubs. As a city manager and also as an owner, I would like to express my joy about the extension. I congratulate you on the work done at the club, there are a lot of supporters behind the team, who form a real team. I feel this myself when I visit a match.”
