CL draw: in a tough group

In addition to Romanian, Swedish, French, Danish, Montenegrin and German rivals, we were placed in a group with the Hungarian champion Győr in the Champions League.

On Tuesday at 11 a.m., the draw for the groups of the Women’s Champions League was held in Vienna. Our club received the free card last week, so we could wait for the draw. DVSC SCHAEFFLER was placed in the A-marked eight, where, in addition to the Romanian, Hungarian, Swedish, Montenegrin and German champions, the French and Danish silver medalists will be our opponents.

Group A:  CSM Bukarest (Romanian), Győri Audi ETO KC, Savehoh (Swedish), Brest (French), Odense (Danish), Buducsnoszt Podgorica (Montenegrin), Bietigheim (German), DVSC SCHAEFFLER.

Group B: Esbjerg (Danish), Metz (French), Vipers Kristiansand (Norwegian), Rapid Bukarest (Romanian), Ferencváros, Lubin (Polish), Ljubljana (Slovenian), Ikast (Danish).

The European association develops the program according to the occupancy of the halls and the needs of the television companies. The schedule is expected by the middle of next week!
